LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. –
The Temple women's soccer team rounded out a five-match road swing with a 5-0 defeat to the Rider Broncs Friday evening at the newly dedicated Ben Cohen Field.

The Owls pressured the Broncs in the early moments of the contest, but Rider's Bridgett Bartkowski's goal in the sixth minute set the Broncs off to the races en route to their fifth victory of the season.

Rider went on to score two more goals in the half, two being scored 28 secons apart between the 24th and 25th minute, courtesy of  Abi Cottam and Jody Sokol, respectively.

The Broncs regained control and were able to go on a two-goal scoring spree  within the final five minutes of the game, as Cottam added another tally to her night before Sarah Wulk capped the coring.

Now that the Owls' (2-5-0) longest road swing of the season has concluded, they'll have a week off before returning to action. Temple returns to the Ambler Sports Complex next Friday, Sept. 23 for a 4:00 p.m. tilt with Francis Marion. The Owls won their first and only home game this season, back on Aug. 26 when they defeated UMBC, 2-1, in double-overtime.
