La Salle opened scoring with four goals in the first 9:21, including three man-up goals, but the Hawks answered back with four goals of their own to knot the game, 4-4, going into the break.

Glanell tallied the first goal off a pass from Jen Peters at the 16:37 mark and just 1:03 later Meghan McDevitt set up freshman Val Paolucci for her first goal of the game. Grace Dinn and Peters each scored in the last four minutes of the half.
