Rugby 2013 World Cup qualifier in Camden in October

The American National Rugby League (AMNRL) (http://www.amnrl.com), the premiere rugby league in the U.S., today announced that the Philadelphia region will host the 2013 Rugby League World Cup Atlantic qualifier (http://www.RugbyWCQ.com) October 15-23. Three of the sport's premier teams - Jamaica, South Africa and the United States - will compete in a week-long tournament with the winner earning the final spot in the 2013 World Cup tournament.

The American National Rugby League (AMNRL) (http://www.amnrl.com), the premiere rugby league in the U.S., today announced that the Philadelphia region will host the 2013 Rugby League World Cup Atlantic qualifier (http://www.RugbyWCQ.com) October 15-23.  Three of the sport’s premier teams – Jamaica, South Africa and the United States – will compete in a week-long tournament with the winner earning the final spot in the 2013 World Cup tournament.

The World Cup Qualifier will take place at Campbell’s Field in Camden, with the teams facing each other over the course of three matches.  The United States, currently ranked 15th in the world, will be looking to make history by earning its first ever birth in the Rugby League World Cup.  At the same time, South Africa and Jamaica – ranked 23rd and 24th respectively – will renew their rivalry and look to dash the U.S. dreams of securing a spot in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
