Here’s a local roundup from Day 1of the Reebok Breakout Challenge at Philadelphia University. Each player played two games:

Miles Overton – The junior guard from St. Joe’s Prep scored 17 point and grabbed seven rebounds while leading the Wildcats to two victories.

Rysheed Jordan – The junior point guard from Vaux scored 11 points with four assists and seven rebounds. Also a member of the Wildcats.

Brandon Austin – The junior point guard from Imhotep scored two points and five rebounds while playing in just one game.

Shep Garner III – The sophomore shooting guard from Roman Catholic totaled 12 points to go along with seven rebounds.

Daiquan Walker – The senior combo guard from Constitution scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds.

Horace Spencer III – The 6-8 power forward scored two points, grabbed two rebounds and blocked three shots.
