Handout

Philadelphia loves a good color run. How do I know that? The self-named “happiest 5K on the planet” has sold out every year in Philly. Luckily, this year, they’re coming back again with an epic encore.

On October 18, Philadelphia will host the country’s first The Color Run Night. Think glow paint, glow sticks and lots and lots of neon to help you light up the night!

The Color Run Night is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in glowing colors at each kilometer. Once your cross the finish line, there’s a crazy color party, complete with fireworks.

Want to get in on the action? Visit the The Color Run website and fill out a form to become a VIP member. Then, on Friday August 1, you’ll receive a sign up link for discount pricing and early ticket sales.
