The Wall Cycling Studio offers roof-top classes

The Wall Cycling Studio will teach class on top of the roof of Whole Foods Markets (Yes, the one with the Taco Truck) in Plymouth Meeting, thanks to a collaboration with the store.

Juliet Sabella, co-owner of The Wall Cycling Studio in Manayunk, loves coming up with fresh ideas to help inspire her clients' workouts. She has done special outdoor spin sessions in the past and had a great response, but this time around she wanted to offer a different perspective…a more birds-eye view you could say.

"I asked myself, why do we have to stay on the ground?" Sabella told Philly.com.

And from that simple question, Summer Spin Series was born. Sabella and her instructors will teach class on top of the roof of Whole Foods Markets (Yes, the one with the Taco Truck) in Plymouth Meeting, thanks to a collaboration with the store.

Sabella is putting her husband to work for these events as well.

"I am lucky that my husband is really supportive of my creative ideas since he will be the one getting the bikes on the roof," she said with a laugh. Her husband Karl Stabler is co-owner of the studio with his wife.

Although the June session of the Summer Spin Series is over, it is not too late to sign up for sessions on Sunday, July 19 and Sunday, August 16 at 7:45 a.m. and again at 8:45 a.m. and Sabella hopes to schedule one in September as well.  Towel service and water and snacks will be available during class.
