There’s just something about practicing yoga in the open air that it makes it so much more peaceful. Luckily, Philly has a whole host of options to do just that but there are only a few more weekends of warm weather left. If you have yet to try one of these popular sun-drenched classes, we’ve got all the details on your last chance at alfresco yoga.

All classes are BYOM — bring your own mat.

Urban Yoga Philly
Back for its third year, Lululemon’s free outdoor yoga series pops up every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Oxford Mills courtyard in Fishtown. Hosted by South Jersey's Grace & Glory Yoga and taught by a rotating cast of local yogis, you can catch the hour-long classes through September 6th. This weekend, acro yogi extraordinaire Eric Mamuzich and his partner Carson Hershberger will lead you in practice. Yogis from Maha Yoga, Hotbox Yoga and Vinyasa Vixen Yoga will the remaining sessions.

Yoga on the Pier
Head on over to Race Street Pier on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. to flow into your sun salutations overlooking the Delaware River. The free yoga classes are taught by Dhyana Yoga and Kaya Aerial Yoga instructors and are suitable for all levels, from beginners to the seasoned practitioner. You can even make it a family affair — kids and pets are welcome, too!

SUP Yoga at Spruce Street Harbor Park
Meet the ladies of Aqua Vida at the beautiful urban oasis that is Spruce Street Harbor Park on Saturdays at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. You’ll do a quick stand-up paddleboard tutorial followed by an hour-long core-centric yoga class atop a board on the Delaware River. You’ll feel even more relaxed and rewarded nailing the poses on top of the water. A 90-minute session will run you $45 with a board rental or $30 if you bring your own. (And they totally encourage you to fall in — if taking a dip in the Delaware is your thing…)

Yoga on the Banks
Join local instructors Erin Gautsche and Ashley Renee Wagner at one of Philly's greenest spaces for free outdoor yoga every Saturday at 11 a.m. through daylight savings in November. The Schuylkill Banks classes are held on the trail near 25th and Locust.
