SoulCycle coming to Center City

The company will be setting up shop in Center City at 113 South 16th St. across from HoneyGrow and Philadelphia Runner.

A popular indoor-cycling fitness program is parking its wheels in Philly this fall.

SoulCycle, the New York-based indoor cycling workout that has garnered a cult-like following, is finally coming to Philly.

Kristyn Clark, public relations manager at SoulCycle, confirmed Tuesday that the company will be setting up shop in Center City at 113 South 16th St. across from HoneyGrow and Philadelphia Runner. Clark said the company is planning a late-fall debut.

"SoulCycle is always looking to open in active and vibrant communities," Clark said. "We're thrilled to be opening in Philadelphia and can't wait to start building our Soul community there."

SoulCycle indoor cycling classes offer a 45-minute full-body "cardio party" that at times incorporate hand weights and handlebar push-ups.

Earlier this year, the company shared their plans to expand into Ardmore.

The studio, which will be located in Suburban Square, is slated to open its doors on May 26.
