Are you training for the Blue Cross Broad Street Run? Then you will want to add the AT&T Back on My Feet 5 Miler to your calendar. This 5 miler scheduled for March 28, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. is great preparation for the Broad Street Run in May. Registration opens today and only costs $25 until January 31st.

Back on My Feet is a national for-purpose organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real changes in their lives that result in employment and independent living. Their mission is to use running to create self-sufficiency. All proceeds from the race will benefit the local Philadelphia chapter.

"We believe running can move your life forward – and every runner has a story about how it changed them," said Scott Crossin, Executive Director of Back on My Feet Philadelphia on their website. "It is our privilege to help fellow Philadelphians who are experiencing homelessness to transform their lives and become self-sufficient."

The race will kick off from the Schuylkill Trail Connector at West River Drive. Stay tuned for more information about training groups that will be starting soon for both the AT&T Back on My Feet 5 miler and the Broad Street Run.
