2014 Philadelphia Marathon registration opens April 1

The GORE-TEX Philadelphia Marathon announced yesterday that the 2014 race weekend will be November 21-23.

If you’re already preparing for the Blue Cross Broad Street Run, it might excite you to know that the running calendar continues well beyond the first Sunday in May.

The GORE-TEX Philadelphia Marathon announced last week that the 2014 race weekend will be November 21-23. This year, representatives expect over 30,000 participants throughout the three days of events.

What’s more, registration starts on April 1—and that’s no April Fool.

Registration begins at $85 for the Marathon and $70 for the Half Marathon for the first 1,000 participants; and $25 for the 8K through May 30. The complete entry fee schedule is below:

Philadelphia Marathon - Sunday, November 23

May 1 – 31 $115
June 1 – 30 $125
July 1 – Nov. 1* $145  

Philadelphia Half Marathon - Sunday, November 23
First 1,000 $70
April 1 – 30 $85

July 1 – Nov. 1* $125

Rothman Institute 8K - Saturday, November 22
April 1 – May 31 $25
June 1 – 30 $30
July 1 – 31 $35
August 1 – Nov. 1* $45
