Wyatt to remain with Sixers through summer league

ORLANDO – Khalif Wyatt will remain with the 76ers throughout the Orlando Pro Summer League, which concludes Friday.

The 6-foot-4 combo guard was supposed to play two games with the Sixers before traveling to Las Vegas Wednesday to join the Dallas Mavericks summer-league squad. The Mavericks will compete in the Las Vegas Summer League on July 12-22.

But the former Temple guard has impressed the Sixers to the point that they want him to remain in Orlando for further evaluations.

Wyatt scored nine points in Sunday's 88-80 setback to the Houston Rockets.
