Sixers 'likely' to re-sign Randle to second 10-day deal

The 76ers are "likely" to sign Chasson Randle to a second 10-day contract, according to a league source.

The team signed the combo guard to his current 10-day deal on Jan. 10.  It will expire at 12 a.m. Friday. He had appeared in two games, averaging 6.5 points, 1.0 steal and 10.5 minutes.  The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder has made 3 of 5 three-point attempts.

Randle averaged 20.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.5 turnovers in 19 games this season with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League. He shot 40.2 percent on three-pointers.

The former Stanford standout played three games in the preseason with the New York Knicks, averaging 7.6 points, 1 assist and 1.67 turnovers in 15.7 minutes. He shot 57 percent on three-pointers.
