Sixers well represented at Ingram, Murray workout

The 76ers were well represented at Tuesday's Excel Sports Management predraft workout in New York that featured the agency's draft prospects, who included projected Top 5 picks Brandon Ingram and Jamal Murray.

Managing owner Josh Harris, coach Brett Brown and vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley were among the Sixers contingent on hand. President of basketball operation Bryan Colangelo attended his son's high school graduation in Toronto.

Ingram and Murray did well in the shooting drills. They did not scrimmage, as the workout session was designed to highlight their strengths.

Ingram, a 6-foot-9 small forward out of Duke, is a candidate to be taken first overall by the Sixers in the June 23 draft.  The Sixers also have the 24th and 26th picks in the draft. Murray, a 6-5 combo guard out of Kentucky, could be an option if the Sixers opt to move up into the top five.

Thon Maker, a 7-1 post player out of Orangeville Prep (Canada), also participated in the workout. Maker graduated from Orangeville with Murray in 2015, but stayed there another year to post-graduate student. He is projected as a mid to late first-round pick.
