411 ON KNICKS:  The once-proud franchise is on pace to miss the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and 12th time in 17 years.  They have lost two straight and six of their last seven games.

There was a thought that Carmelo Anthony and/or Derrick Rose would be shipped out of New York prior to Thursday's NBA trade deadline. However, they remain and will try to turn things around for the rest of the season.

McConnell hit a buzzer-beating, 12-foot baseline jumper to give the Sixers a 98-97 victory at the Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 11. He finished with eight points, a game-high seven assists, and two steals. Embiid paced the Sixers with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and one block.

Anthony finished with a game-high 28 points. Rose added 25 points and four assists.
