Sixers to hold moment of silence for Brazilian soccer team

The 76ers will hold a moment of silence before the national anthem of Wednesday night’s game against Sacramento for members of the Brazilian first-division soccer team, passengers and crew lost in the LaMia Flight 2933 crash Monday in Colombia.

The chartered plane carrying the Chapecoense team crashed near Medellin while on its way to the finals of a regional tournament, killing 71 people, officials said. Six people survived.
