The 76ers released Lorenzo Brown and signed Darius Johnson-Odom to a 10-day contract on Friday.
Brown became a casualty so the squad could make room on their 15-man roster.
The 6-foot-5 point guard has averaged 2.5 points, 1.6 assists, 1.5 rebounds and 8.6 minutes in 26 games appearances since signing with the Sixers on Nov. 20. The rookie was assigned to the Delaware 87ers, the Sixers’ NBA Development team six times.
Johnson-Odom plays for the Springfield Armor of the D-League. The Dallas Mavericks drafted the 6-foot-2 shooting guard with the 55th overall pick in the 2012 draft. He was immediately traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers waived him on Jan. 7, 2013.
