Sixers hire Charlie Widdoes as director of digital content

CHICAGO -- The 76ers have hired Charlie Widdoes as director of digital content.

Widdoes comes from the New York Knicks where he held the same position. After finishing out next week in New York, he'll officially take over his Sixers' post on May 23.

He will oversee Sixers.com and all of the team's social media content.  While with the Knicks the past four years, Widdoes was in charge of Knicks.com's editoral content.
