Sixers hire UFC executive

WASHINGTON – UFC public relations executive Dave Sholler has accepted a job with the 76ers.

The Atlantic City native will oversee all communications on both the basketball and business sides.

He will join the Sixers after UFC's 205 event at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 12.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for me personally and professionally," Sholler told MMAjunkie. "It gives me the chance to go home to work for an organization I grew up rooting for, an organization that I'm incredibly passionate about, and organization I believe is going add to its storied legacy in the coming years."
