The 76ers have assigned Tony Wroten and Kendall Marshall to the Delaware 87ers

Neither player is expected to appear in any games for the Sixers' NBA Development League team.  They just went down there to practice as part of their return to play protocol.  The point guards are scheduled to return to Delaware on Thursday for another practice.

Both point guards have been sidelined since last season while the rehabilitate ACL tears. The Sixers had said that Marshall would be able to return to their team this month, while Wroten would be ready in December.

"It was great," Wroten said. "Being able to scrimmage again is a terrific feeling."

They participated in two-on-two and three-and-three drills against the 87ers. They had been working out against the members of the Sixers' staff.

"Getting that practice in and having the game ability, fighting through screens and coming off pick-and-rolls, driving to the basket against a capable basketball player makes a difference," Marshall said.
