Holmes added to Sixers center mix

There was a sense that the 76ers had three quality centers in Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel. But team president Bryan Colangelo added Richaun Holmes' name to that list last month.

The 6-foot-10, 245-pounder has been living up to Colangelo's comments this preseason. He finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks on Thursday. That came after Holmes produced 10 points, four rebounds, two steals and one block in just 12 minutes on Tuesday.

The only problem is that minutes will be hard to come by if the others all remain on the roster. The Sixers were in trade discussions for Noel and Okafor in the offseason. Holmes would most likely have to get reps at power forward or during stints with the Delaware 87ers, the Sixers NBA Development League affiliate.
