McRae day-to-day with toe sprain

76ers guard Jordan McRae is listed day-to-day with a right toe sprain.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pounder did not participate in Friday's practice at the UNLV's Lied Gymnasium. The Sixers open the NBA Summer League against the Los Angeles Lakers on 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Center.

McRae led the Sixers in scoring this week's Utah Summer League with 15.7 points per game.  The former Tennessee standout also averaged 4.0 rebounds and finished with three assists, three steals and one block in the Sixers three games.

The 24-year-old was selected by the San Antonio Spurs 58th overall and traded to the Sixers on the night of the 2014 draft.

He went on to average 21 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists last summer in Vegas. But he signed with the Melbourne United of the Australian National Basketball League while the Sixers retained his rights.
