Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

1.  Dario Saric is showing why the Sixers have a lot of faith in the rookie power forward.  He has scored 18 or more points in each of the last seven games.

2.   Saric is also turning into a double-double machine.  His 19-point, 15-round performance against the New York Knicks on Saturday marked his fourth-straight game with a double-double.

3. The Sixers are about to embark on their last stretch of home games for a while. Four of their next five games are at Wells Fargo Center.  Then they'll play 11 of 14 on the road.

4. Richaun Holmes has benefitted from the playing time received following the Nerlens Noel trade to the Dallas Mavericks. He's averaging 10 points, six rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 1.5 steals in the two games since the trade.

5.  Robert Covington is now ranked third in the NBA in steals. The small forward's 1.96 steals per game only trail the 2.07 by  Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green  and  the 2.04  by Washington Wizards point guard John Wall.
