Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

1.  The Sixers' 32 assists in Friday night's 116-74 victory over the Dallas Mavericks were three shy of their  season high of 35.  They recorded that on Jan. 24 in a 121-110 win against the Los Angeles Clippers.

2.   The Sixers' 42-point win marked their largest margin of victory since Jan. 30, 2008. It was also the 10th time they defeated an opponents by at least 42 points in franchise history.

3.  Richaun Holmes finished with 17 points on Friday to extend his double-digit scoring streak to five games.

4. Holmes' five-game streak of scoring 10 or more points is minor compared to Dario Saric. He scored 10 points on Friday to extend his streak of 10 or more points to 18 games.

5. The Sixers will face a shorthanded Boston Celtics squad on Sunday.  All-star point guard Isaiah Thomas will miss the game with a bone bruise in his right knee.
