Five things you need to know about the 76ers today:

1.  The Sixers are making the most of T.J. McConnell being in the starting lineup, They are 5-1 when he starts.

2.  McConnell's game-winning shot against the New York Knicks on Wednesday marked the Sixers' first buzzer-beating victory since Jan. 29, 2014. On that day, Evan Turner's basket gave them a 95-94 victory over the Boston Celtics.

3. Joel Embiid recorded his 15th 20-point game of the season on Wednesday. He's the NBA's only rookie to score 20 or points more than four times.

4.  Embiid's 21-point and 14-round performance marked his seventh double-double of the season.  His career-high 14 rebounds are the most by a rookie this season.

5.  Ersan Ilyasova scored 16 points on Wednesday. It marked the 30th time that he's scored in double figures in 33 games played with the Sixers.
