Davies out 4 to 6 week with broken finger

NEW YORK – 76ers reserve forward Brandon Davies will be out 4 to 6 weeks after having surgery Tuesday on his fractured right pinky finger. The injury was originally believed to be a dislocation.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound rookie suffered the injury while chasing a loose ball late in Saturday's 103-78 setback at the Chicago Bulls.

Davies, who went undrafted out of Brigham Young, averages 2.5 points, 2.0 rebounds  and 11.6 minutes  this season.  His scored a career-high 11 points on Jan. 7 at the Cleveland Cavaliers.
