76ers teammates Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel were selected to the play in the Rising Stars Challenge at the NBA All-Star weekend in New York.

The game, which will be played Feb. 13 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, has been modified. The league's top American rookie and second-year players will face the league's top first- and second-year players from around the world.

Noel and Carter-Williams will represent the American team.

Carter-Williams, a second-year point guard, was last season's rookie of the year. He's averaging 15.3 points, 7.1 assists, and 6 rebounds this season to join Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook as the only players averaging at least 15 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Carter-Williams tallied 17 points, a game-high 9 assists, and 6 rebounds in last season's Rising Stars game in New Orleans.

Noel averages 8 points and leads all rookies in rebounds (7.3 per game), blocked shots (1.56), and steals (1.51) this season.  Former San Antonio Spurs standout David Robinson is the only rookie to average at least 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals for a season.
