"Best" and "Worst" award: Sixers vs. Clippers

My look at some of the best and worst performances from the Los Angeles Clippers' 98-92 overtime victory over the 76ers on Monday night at Wells Fargo Center:

Best performance: It would be insane to not give this award to J.J. Redick. The Clippers shooting guard finished with a game-high 23 points.  Perhaps none were bigger than his three-pointer to force overtime with 10.5 seconds left in regulation.  Redick made 6 of 7 foul shots and had two assists.

Worst performance: I had to give this to Isaiah Canaan. The Sixers reserve shooting guard was basically a bystander out there. He scored one point in 24 minutes, 50 seconds of action. And that point came with 1:10 left in overtime.  Canaan missed all six of his field goals – including 0-5 on threes.

Best performance by a Sixer: Jerami Grant gets this one. The power forward showed why the Sixers he can become one of their long-term plan. He finished with 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting. He also grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked one shot.

Best defensive performance: This award goes to Nerlens Noel. The Sixers center/power forward had four steals to go with one blocked shot. Eight of his nine rebounds also came on the defensive end.

Worst statistic:  The Sixers' shooting with the game on the line. They missed 16 of their final 18 shots.

Best statistic: This had to go the Sixers' foul shooting. They made 18 of 21  foul shots to shoot 85.7 percent.
