Best and Worst: Sixers vs. Cavs

CLEVELAND – My look at some of the best and worst performances from the Cleveland Cavaliers' 108-102 victory over the 76ers on Friday at Quicken Loans Arena:

Best performance: It would be insane to not give this award to LeBron James. The Cavs swingman scored 12 of his team's first 14 points to open the third quarter en route to recording 18 points in a 28-10 run. The 6-foot-8, 250-pound swingman capped the run with a three-pointer that gave the Cavs a commanding 77-60 advantage with 4 minutes, 28 seconds left in the quarter.

Worst performance: Averaging four points before the game, no one expected Jared Cunningham to challenge James for scoring the most points. However, he was basically a bystander out there. The Cavs shooting guard didn't score a point in 20 minutes, 13 seconds of action while starting in place of the injured J.R. Smith. He also finished with one rebound, one assist, one steal and a turnover and two personal fouls.  He looked nothing like the player who torched the Sixers in the preseason.

Best performance by a Sixer: Nerlens Noel gets this one. The power forward showed why he's one the most versatile young post players in the league. He finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds, a game-high five steals, two assists and two blocks.

Best defensive performance: This award also to Noel. In addition to his steals and blocked shots, nine of his rebounds game on the defensive end.

Worst statistic:  This goes to the Sixers second-chance points. They scored six second-chance points.

Best statistic: This had to go Timofey Mozgov's shooting performance. The Cavs center made 6 of 7 shots en route to finishing with 13 points.
