"Best" & "Worst" awards: Sixers vs. Heat

My look at some of the best and worst performances and happenings from the Miami Heat's 101-86 victory over the 76ers on Friday at Wells Fargo Center:

Best performance:  Chris Bosh gets this on a night when Heat teammate LeBron James was two rebounds shy of recording a triple double.  That's because Bosh did most of his damage before the game turned into a blowout. He scored 15 of game-high 25 points in the first half. The 6-foot-11 center also finished with six rebounds and a game-high five blocked shots. Meanwhile, James scored 10 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter against the Sixers reserves.

Worst performance:  This goes to Michael Carter-Williams. The Sixers rookie point guard finished with seven points on 1-for-7 shooting and a committed a game-high five turnovers. This night was a big difference from Oct. 30, when he torched the Heat for 22 points, 12 assists, nine steals and seven rebounds.

Best performance in a losing effort: This is an easy one, because Evan Turner was the only Sixers starter that had produced a solid performance.  The swingman made 4 of 8 shots en route to finishing with 11 points.  He also had six rebounds, two assists, a steal and zero turnovers.

Best defensive performance:  With five blocked shots, Bosh is the only logical person to win this award He also had twpo steals.

Worst statistic: How can you not give this to the Sixers' three-point shooting? They made just 10 percent (2 of 20) of their three-point attempts.

Best statistic: This award goes to the Heat's shot blocking.  They blocked 12 shots against the Sixers.

Worst of the Worst:  This award goes to Carter-Williams, Spencer Hawes and Thad Young shooting a combined 3 for 22 in the first half. Hawes was 2 for 9. Young was 1 for 9 and Carter-Williams went 0 for 4
