"Best" & "Worst" awards: 76ers vs. Bulls

CHICAGO – My look at some of the best and worst performances from the Chicago Bulls 91-81 victory over the 76ers on Saturday night at the United Center:

Best performance: Perhaps I should just give this to Joakim Noah whenever the Sixers play Chicago. That's because the Bulls' 6-foot-11, 232-pound center swept this awards in this week's two matchups. He finished with a game-high 20 points to go with eight rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots this time. Noah was deadly from the foul line, making 8 of 9 shots. Whether on offense or defense, he always appeared to be in the right position. He did have five turnovers. But I'm going to overlook that.

Worst performance: I have to give this to James Nunnally, who's on a 10-day contract with the Sixers. The reserve swingman missed all three of his shot attempts in 14 minutes, 32 seconds of action. He never got into a flow and was like an invisible man out there.

Best defensive performance: This award goes to Taj Gibson. The reserve forward finished with a game-high four blocks. He also had 16 points and 10 rebounds – six defensive.

Best performance in a losing effort:  Henry Sims wins this award after producing his second consecutive double-double. The center had 18 points, 15 rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots.

Worst statistic: This award goes to the Sixers making just 1 of 20 three-point shots (5 percent). They missed their first 18.

Best statistics: You have to give this the Sixers shooting 90.9 percent (20 of 22) from the foul line.

 Worst of the Worst:  This goes to the Sixers' losing streak reaching 24 games. They are now two losses away from the NBA record 26 straight by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers.
