76ers/Cavs Best-Worst: James, Saric and costly turnovers

CLEVELAND – Here's my look at some of the best and worst performances from the Cleveland Cavaliers' 122-105 victory over the 76ers at the Quicken Loans Arena on Friday night.

Best performance: Only a fool would give this award to anyone not named LeBron James.  Yes, he was simply that dominating. The Cavaliers forward had a game-high of 34 points to go with nine rebounds and six assists. He made three three-pointers.  Twenty-six of his points came during the second and third quarters.

Worst performance:  I had to give this award to Dario Saric. The Sixers power forward struggled through 3-for-12 shooting to finish with eight points. Saric missed six of his seven three-point attempts. He also tied teammate Richaun Holmes with a game-worst four turnovers. Saric also grabbed four rebounds in 25 minutes, 30 seconds.

Best defensive performance: Kevin Love gets this award. The Cleveland power forward  had a game-high three steals and did a solid job of defending Saric. He also finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds with nine comings on the defensive end.

Best performance in a losing effort:  Holmes receives this award on a night when he graded out with a game-worst minus 21. However, a lot of that had to do with his playing 35:44 in a blowout loss. Holmes finished with 19 points on 7-for-9 shooting. He also had seven rebounds and two steals.

Worst statistic: This award goes to the Cavs' foul shooting. The made 9 of 16 attempts (56.3 percent)

Best statistic: This award goes to Tristan Thompson's offensive rebounds. Seven of the Cavs center's 11 rebounds came on the offensive end.

Worst of the Worst: This goes to the Sixers' turnovers. Their 18 giveaways turned into 29 points for the Cavs.
