Sixers trying to get another first-round pick

A source said the team is offering two second-rounders to move up.

The 76ers are trying acquire a second first-round pick in Thursday night's NBA draft.

A league source confirmed that the team is offering two second-round picks, Nos. 36 and 39 overall, to get a late first-rounder.  The Sixers are expected to take Washington point guard Markelle Fultz with the first overall pick. In addition to 36 and 39, the Sixers have picks 46 and 50 of the second round.

NBA.com first reported the news. Bryan Colangelo, the team's president of basketball operations,  on Monday spoke of packaging second-round picks to move up.
