Roberto Hernandez to start Grapefruit League opener

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Baseball begins Wednesday afternoon, and Roberto Hernandez will be the first Phillie to throw a pitch. The team's likely fifth starter will pitch against Toronto at Bright House Field.

Miguel Gonzalez will make his anticipated debut Thursday after Cliff Lee pitches in Dunedin, Fla., against Toronto. A.J. Burnett's first appearance will come Sunday against his former team, the Pittsburgh Pirates.
