Peter Bourjos could be headed to disabled list with injured shoulder
The Phillies have had a few days to contemplate a roster move to free space for Aaron Altherr, who will return to the outfield on Thursday. They may have to make a transaction they did not wish to do.
That could be a boon for Cody Asche and Jimmy Paredes, two players who are in danger of losing their roster spots. The Phillies could still option Asche, who is 4 for his last 51, to triple-A Lehigh Valley.
