TAMPA, Fla. — The Sixers will retire Allen Iverson's No. 3 tonight, and the tributes extended to baseball in Florida.

Marlon Byrd paid homage to Iverson with a customized batting practice jersey before the Phillies played the Yankees at George M. Steinbrenner Field. It was the Sixers' idea, and the Phillies were happy to oblige.

Byrd will wear his real jersey during the game. He's batting cleanup as the Phillies face three Yankees aces — CC Sabathia, Hiroki Kuroda and Masahiro Tanaka.
