Stay up-to-date with all the latest news and rumors as the MLB Non-Waiver Trade Deadline approaches at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31.

4:54 p.m. - The deadline has come and gone, and though Jayson Stark has mentioned at least one mystery trade that was done before it passed, the Phillies, through Ruben's own admission, did nothing.

They simply did not get a "satisfactory" offer on Michael Young, who was their only really actively pursued piece. No play for Jonathan Papelbon, and his set price on Cliff Lee was deemed too high for any serious contenders.

2:00 p.m. - Michael Young is now also willing to waive his no-trade clause for the Yankees, reportedly.
