Baseball America regards Andrew Knapp as Phillies' No. 4 prospect

In its end-of-season rankings released Monday, Baseball America regarded the three prospects the team acquired in July's trade of Cole Hamels as second, third and fifth best in the Phillies' much-improved farm system.

Outfielder Nick Williams and righthander Jake Thompson ranked Nos. 2 and 3 behind the consensus top prospect, shortstop J.P. Crawford. Perhaps the biggest surprise on the list was that catcher Jorge Alfaro was ranked fifth, one spot behind Andrew Knapp.

Cornelius Randolph, the 10th overall pick in June's draft, checked in at No. 6.
