All Phillies coaches will return in 2015

The Phillies offered their entire coaching staff a chance to return for 2015, and all seven coaches have accepted.

Those coaches had this month to seek employment elsewhere, but the team reached contract agreements Wednesday, general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. announced. Manager Ryne Sandberg praised the efforts of his staff despite another 73-89 season.

Sandberg's coaches are Larry Bowa (bench coach), Bob McClure (pitching coach), Steve Henderson (hitting coach), Juan Samuel (first-base coach), Pete Mackanin (third-base coach), Rod Nichols (bullpen coach) and John Mizerock (assistant hitting coach).
