Game 99: The return of Cliff Lee

Cliff Lee makes his first start since May 18 when opens the first of a four-game series with the San Francisco Giants tonight at Citizens Bank Park.

Cliff Lee makes his first start since May 18 when opens the first of a four-game series with the San Francisco Giants tonight at Citizens Bank Park.

Lee (4-4, 3.18) has been out with a left elbow strain. He will face Octorara graduate Ryan Vogelsong (5-7, 3.86).

General manager Ruben Amaro told reporters in Atlanta that Lee could approach 85-100 pitches.

Grady Sizemore, who is 10-24 (.417) since joining the Phillies, will bat leadoff and play center field.
