Game 56: Brown to hit No. 3

Charlie Manuel has moved the hot-hitting Domonic Brown to the No. 3 spot in the Phillies batting order for this afternoon’s game at Citizens Bank Park against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Charlie Manuel has moved the hot-hitting Domonic Brown to the No. 3 spot in the Phillies batting order for this afternoon’s game at Citizens Bank Park against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Brown hit .303 with 12 home runs and 25 RBIs in the month of May. He hit two home runs in Friday’s 8-5 loss to the Brewers.

In addition, Freddy Galvis is starting at shortstop for Jimmy Rollins and will hit eighth.

Tyler Cloyd (1-1, 5.74)  looks to bounce back from his last start when he allowed nine hits and six runs in 2 1/3 innings during Monday’s 9-3 loss at Boston.
