Bubba Watson, winner of the 2012 Masters Tournament, is helping develop a hovercraft golf cart. That's right, a golf cart that can go in and out of the woods, and ride over sand traps and water hazards.

Chris Fitzgerald, hovercraft expert and winner of the world's coolest job contest, explains that "the big advantage of the hovercraft is that it has a footprint pressure of about 33 times less than the human foot." So, unlike golf carts and human beings, it leaves no trace on the green.

Here's the description on the video: "Golf carts haven't changed much over the years. They look and feel the same. What if there was a way to improve the traditional golf cart concept and take away some of the limitations? That is what Bubba Watson and Oakley set out to do. They created the world's first hovercraft golf cart. Using hovercraft technology, the BW1 is able to glide over any terrain, including grass, sand, and water."

And don't forget, folks. According to the 1989 classic "Back to the Future Part II," we are only two years away from hoverboards.
