Statement from Ed Snider's widow

Lin Snider released the following statement through the Flyers on the loss of her husband, Ed Snider, co-founder of the Flyers and chairman of Comcast Spectacor:

"I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and admiration for Ed.  He was a man of tremendous vitality. At the core he was a wonderful family man. He loved his children and grandchildren, and they truly loved him. I join them in expressing gratitude today to all of those who have shared their thoughts and feelings about Ed. Our time together, while far too short, was filled with extraordinary moments and wonderful adventures. We loved each other deeply. I will treasure my memories, and will miss him greatly."
