DALLAS _ Flyers center Vinny Lecavalier, who has been bothered by back spasms, skated at the American Airlines Center Saturday morning, but it doesn't sound like he wlil be ready to play Monday in Ottawa.

"He did OK," said assistant general manager Ron Hextall, whose tone suggested Lecavalier is not close to being ready.

"He's still not the best," Hextall said. "He's possible (for Monday), but not probable."

Lecavalier has missed the last three games, including Saturday's in Dallas. He will skate again Sunday in Ottawa, Hextall said.
