Gervais to miss rest of season

Flyers defenseman Bruno Gervais will undergo surgery Thursday to repair a torn stomach muscle.

Flyers defenseman Bruno Gervais will miss the rest of the season.

Gervais will undergo surgery on Thursday to repair a torn stomach muscle.

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said, in a statement, that Gervais "will be out indefinitely."

Gervais has played 37 games with one goal and five assists. He is a minus-17.
