Five things to know about the Flyers today as they face Bruins

Five things to know today about the Flyers (22-16-6) as they play in Boston (22-18-5) Saturday at 1 p.m.:

1. The Bruins are one of just four NHL teams with a losing home record (9-10).

2. Mark Streit, who hasn't played since Dec. 11 because of a shoulder injury, will return to the Flyers' lineup. The Flyers went just 3-6-3 in the 12 games the veteran defenseman missed. Shayne Gostisbehere and Nick Schultz will be scratched Saturday.

3. Tuukka Rask, Boston's all-star goalie, is 10-2-3 with a 2.12 goals against average and .926 save percentage lifetime against the Flyers. He was removed from the Thursday's game after blocking a shot with his mask, but he practiced Friday and said he was ready to play Saturday.

4. Michal Neuvirth will get the call for the Flyers. He has been solid in two appearances since returning from a knee injury, including a scoreless relief stint in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over Vancouver, one in which he stopped all three shootout attempts.

5. After today, the Flyers play in Washington against the powerful Capitals on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m., then don't play again until next Saturday against visiting New Jersey. They want to go into their bye week feeling good about themselves.

Winger Matt Read, who is goal-less in his last 21 games, will not play Saturday because of a lower-body injury. Roman Lyubimov will be back in the lineup.
