Five things to know about the Flyers as they face Jackets

Five things to know today about the Flyers (31-28-8), who return home and face Columbus (43-18-6) on Monday night:

1. Former Flyer Sergei Bobrovsky is having another superb season. In his last six appearances, Bobrovsky is 5-0-1 with a 1.19 goals-against average, a .967 save percentage, and three shutouts. Bobrovsky is 6-1 in his career against the Flyers, including six straight victories.

2. Former Blue Jacket Steve Mason has been on a roll for the Flyers lately.  Mason, who is 3-3-3 in his career against his ex-team, has a 1.56 goals-against average and .949 save percentage in his last five games this season.

3. Columbus, which blew a 3-0 lead and dropped a 5-3 decision in Buffalo on Saturday, is one win and two points away from setting a franchise record for wins/points in a season (43-32-7; 93 points in 2013-14).

4. The Blue Jackets' .641 road point percentage is tied for third in the NHL.

5. Since winning 10 straight, the Flyers have won just 12 of their last 35 games (12-18-5), explaining why their playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. The Flyers are six points out of a wild-card spot with 15 games remaining.
