14 former Flyers stars taking part in 50th anniversary ceremony

Fourteen members of the Flyers Hall of Fame will take part in ceremonies before Thursday's 7 p.m. game against Arizona at the Wells Fargo Center.

It is the first of five Heritage Nights, celebrating the franchise's 50th anniversary season.

The former Flyers scheduled to attend: Bill Barber, Rod Brind'Amour, Bob Clarke, Ron Hextall, Mark Howe, John LeClair, Reggie Leach, Eric Lindros, Bernie Parent, Brian Propp, Dave Poulin, Dave Schultz, Joe Watson, and Jim Watson.

In addition, six deceased Flyers Hall of Fame members will be represented by members of their respective families: Lindy Snider, daughter of co-founder Ed Snider; Sarah Hart, wife of broadcaster Gene Hart; Donna Ashbee, wife of defenseman Barry Ashbee; Danielle MacLeish, daughter of center Rick MacLeish; Chase Rogers, grandson of coach-turned-general manager Keith Allen; Patricia Scott & Greg Scott, wife and son of Joe Scott, one of the team's original owners.

Arizona has lost five straight since opening its season with a 4-3 overtime win over the visiting Flyers.
