Brandon Boykin, Cary Williams both out vs. Steelers

Cornerbacks Brandon Boykin and Cary Williams are among the seven players who will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of injury. Both have hamstring injuries.

The other players absent are wide receiver Josh Huff (shoulder), wide receiver Brad Smith (groin), running back Chris Polk (hamstring), linebacker Jake Knott (hamstring), and center Julian Vandervelde (back).

Wide receiver Riley Cooper and cornerback Nolan Carroll are making their preseason debuts. Running back Kenjon Barner and kicker Cody Parkey are both in uniform for the Eagles after coming in trades on Wednesday.

With Boykin and WIlliams out, look for Carroll and rookie Jaylen Watkins to get more work. Curtis Marsh and Roc Carmichael will also see time.

With Smith out, Jordan Matthews will be the top slot receiver for the Eagles.
