The news follows a season that saw Celek put up receiving numbers that were the lowest of his career.
Eagles tight end Brent Celek has taken a pay cut for the 2017 season, according to ESPN's Field Yates:
The 2017 season will be the second year of a three-year deal that was originally worth $13 million, according to Spotrac.
Last year, the 32-year-old Celek played in all 16 games for the Eagles, catching 14 passes from 19 targets for a total of 155 yards. All three receiving statistics were the lowest of any season in his career.
