New York Daily News responds to Eagles hype video with trademark cluelessness

The week leading up to Sunday's Eagles-Giants match-up has been full of trash talk - though most of it has come from the Giants side.

The week leading up to Sunday's Eagles-Giants match-up has been full of trash talk - though most of it has come from the Giants side, and in each case was for some reason apologized for by each offending party.

First there was DRC apologizing for saying the Eagles have no Super Bowl rings, then Antrel Rolle said the Eagles won the NFC East last year due to a weak division, but then pulled back on his statement, and finally Jason Pierre-Paul struggled and in the end failed to comprehend basic math:

Giants players just can't seem to get the hang of this darn "trash talk" phenomenon! Gosh! Thankfully, the New York Daily News stepped in with one of its classic "cartoon fart noises" of a headline this morning:

Utilizing their favorite journalistic tactic of "rhyming," that thing that kindergarteners learn how to do on the first day (after "4 + 1= 5"), the Daily News cuts deep into Bradley Cooper's Eagles hype video for Black Sunday.

Cooper was merely (and accurately) predicting the absurd rhetoric spewed by the Giants' camp during this very week, though he would have had no idea just how stumbling and bumbling Big Blue would be with their vitriol. which has been as threatening as maybe, like, a kitten wearing a Giants helmet that keeps falling off its head as it tries to walk around, mewing piteously.

Well, anyway, Eli Manning hasn't broken any interception records yet and it's all of Week 6, so that would make any Giants fan burst with confidence, I guess.
